Ian Rainbolt serves as the Vice President of Finance of Warwick Group. He is responsible for all acquisitions, divestitures, capital planning and underwriting activities. Ian has extensive experience acquiring, financing and managing both energy and real estate assets. While at Warwick, Ian has evaluated over $1B in Energy and Real Estate transactions.
Ian began his career at BMO Capital Markets (NYSE: BMO) in Houston, Texas as an investment banker underwriting debt and equity issuances. Prior to joining Warwick, Ian was with ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) in both its Houston, Texas and Anchorage, Alaska offices where he served in a number of roles. While at COP, Ian worked closely with executive leadership on a range of financial priorities. Ian was a key contributor to the analysis and recommendations for COP’s divestiture & share repurchase programs laid out in its November 2016 Analyst Day and the decision to reduce the company dividend by more than $2B annually. Ian also supported the evaluation of many of COP’s global real estate transactions including the lease financing and acquisition of COP’s West Houston real estate and corporate headquarters, as well as the ongoing management of its Anchorage, Alaska real estate including underwriting new tenant sublease revenue and capital improvement expenditures.
Ian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business where his studies focused on Energy and Real Estate.
